The FBI recently announced that cyber criminals are planning a global ATM cash-out scheme in the near future. This large-scale theft scheme has likely caused you some concern and questions, so we want to provide you with information on how you can protect yourself and your accounts.

What you can do

We recommend that you protect your account by utilizing the following services:
  • Card Control - Know where and when your card is being used and protect it by turning it off if you suspect fraud or if you lose your card. Learn more about Card Control.
  • Debit card fraud alerts – as a Legend Bank debit cardholder, you are automatically enrolled in debit card fraud alerts, if you have mobile phone number on file. You will be notified of any suspicious transactions via text and can verify if the transaction is valid by responding to the text. This allows you to reduce the chance of a fraudulent transaction being made on your account. Learn more here.
