Legend ATM/Check Card: It looks like a credit card, but works like a check. Instead of charging, paying with cash, or writing a check, customers may use the ATM/Check Card wherever credit cards are accepted and the VisaŽ logo is displayed (at more than 11 million merchants around the world). The Legend ATM/Check Card is not a credit card. It is a debit card, meaning purchases are deducted from a personal checking account. The Legend ATM/Check Card can be ordered at the time customers open their accounts.

What are the daily limits?

Check card limits with signature transactions - $2,500*
Point of Sale or Pin # transactions - $1,000
ATM withdrawals - $300  

*The $2,500 signature transaction limit is not a daily limit but is the accrued amount of transactions for the account including those pending within a 3-day period.

Something to remember with daily Pin # transactions and ATM withdrawals:

The daily limits of $1,000 POS and $300 ATM withdrawals are shared.
For example, if you buy something using your Pin # for $980, you can
only withdrawal $20 from the ATM machine.
If there is not enough $$$ in customer's account to cover the
purchase, the transaction will not go through.
