• 1^st Response 24-hour Information Line – Access account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from a Touch-Tone phone.

• ATM/Check Card – Enjoy the convenience of 24-hour banking at thousands of ATMs worldwide. Use Legend Bank’s Visa® Check Card instead of a check to pay for goods and services wherever Visa® is accepted.  

• Account Inquiry – Customers can make account inquiries, find out if a specific item has cleared, or check on the status of deposits and posted checks by calling 1^st Response or by accessing Legend Online.

• Account Research – For a per-hour fee, customers can have a Customer Service Representative research their account(s) for problem resolution.

• Automated Payments and Deposits – Customers can authorize a recurring transfer of funds between accounts, such as transferring funds into a savings account or automatic transfer of CD interest.

• Bank-by-Mail – Save trips to the bank by using Legend’s handy pre-addressed Bank-by-Mail envelopes.

• Cashier’s Checks – A direct obligation of Legend Bank that is guaranteed payable if endorsed completely and correctly. A cashier’s check cannot be sold blank or issued to cash or “bearer.” Consumers and companies frequently purchase cashier’s checks to satisfy payment and/or remittance terms requiring immediate satisfactory payment, especially when a large amount is involved.

• Direct Deposit – A service provided by Legend Bank in conjunction with a customer’s employer or government agencies such as Social Security Administration. The customer instructs their employer to directly deposit their check into a designated checking and savings account at Legend Bank, rather than being paid by check or cash. Direct Deposit is a safe and secure way of ensuring that customers’ pay checks will be in their account, available on payday, rather than waiting for a paycheck to clear, which can take several days.

• Drafts – An order for the payment of money drawn by a person or bank on another person or bank with certain stipulations required.  Examples are automobile draft and insurance drafts.

• Drive-Thru Banking – Conveniently located near each Legend Bank location for customers to bank from the convenience of their vehicle.

• Fax Service – Incoming and outgoing fax transmissions available.

• Legend Online Banking with bill payment option – Access account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from your personal computer, at no charge.  Bill payment option is available for a low monthly fee. 

• Night Depository – Twenty-four hour depository receptacle available at all branches.

• Notary Service – Bonded notary personnel available at all branches.

• Overdraft Privilege – This service helps pay checks, up to the assigned limit, to cover unexpected overdrafts.

• Safe Deposit Boxes – Help protect valuables against fire, theft or other disasters.

• Stop Payments – Protects you from the bank paying a check you issued and do not want paid.

• Traveler’s Checks – A safe way to travel without having to carry cash.
